FAQs

IFS and therapeutic coaching can help address a wide range of interconnected issues, from anxiety, stress and low self-esteem to navigating change and life transitions. Many people experience overlapping challenges, and it's common to feel unsure about what you need. During an initial consultation, we can explore these themes together and determine the best approach for your individual needs.

Deciding to start therapy is a significant and personal decision, marking a proactive step towards better mental and emotional health. You might be ready for therapy if you recognise challenges affecting your daily life, have a genuine desire for positive change, and are open to exploring your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Therapy works best when there is a commitment to consistency and patience, active participation, self-reflection, and an openness to receive support.

How we work together
Introductory Connection Call I offer a free 15–20 minute informal chat via Zoom or phone. This is a brief opportunity for us to meet and see if it feels right to work together. While we won’t take a detailed history in this meeting, I am interested in understanding your goals and expectations. It is a space for you to ask questions and assess whether you feel comfortable and safe in my presence.
Our Initial Consultation Following our chat, we meet for a full 60-minute consultation session. This is a deeper opportunity to connect and discuss your needs in detail. We will explore your history, assess your readiness for the work, and discuss a therapeutic pathway tailored specifically to you.
Session Format
Online: I primarily offer online sessions via Zoom. For this, you will need a personal computer, a reliable internet connection, and a private, undisturbed space where you feel safe to speak freely.
In-Person: Face-to-face sessions are possible by arrangement; please enquire if this is your preference.
Booking and Scheduling Appointments are easily scheduled through an online booking system, allowing you to choose the days and times that work best for your schedule.

Fees and Investment
I understand that therapy is a significant investment in, and a valuing of, your own wellbeing.
By maintaining a sustainable professional practice, I am also able to offer therapy that is accessible to those for whom the standard fee may be a barrier. To ensure my work remains inclusive, I offer a range of session lengths alongside a limited number of concessionary places for those on a lower income.
Session Options & Fees
45 Minutes | from £60 A 45-minute, intention-focused session. This shorter session format is designed for wellbeing coaching and counselling that addresses specific issues in the 'here and now.'
60 Minutes | from £80 This is my standard session length, supporting deep, transformational work. My practice moves away from the traditional 50-minute ‘therapeutic hour’ to provide a full 60 minutes. I also offer a ‘soft ending’ to the session; where the depth of the work requires it - allowing additional time (at my discretion).
90 Minutes | from £120 – An extended format designed for those who wish to engage in more intensive, deeper therapeutic exploration. This longer duration provides an effective container for transformational core processing work.
Flexible Support
Concessions: I offer a limited number of sliding-scale places for those who may need a reduced rate. Please feel welcome to enquire about current availability.
Nature-Based & In-Person: Please get in touch for specific pricing regarding in-person or outdoor ecotherapy sessions.
If you are unsure which session length would best suit your needs, we can discuss this together during our initial connection.

Finding the right path for you
Here is a brief summary of the services I offer to help guide your choice:
IFS Therapy: Most relevant for addressing deeper, more complex issues that require healing. This typically involves a longer duration and a greater commitment to exploring your inner system.
Therapeutic Coaching: A blended approach that combines personal growth with healing. It helps you move forward while addressing the emotional blocks or past traumas that may be hindering your progress.
Intuitive Coaching: A spiritually guided, problem-solving approach. This is ideal for short-term work addressing specific concerns, particularly when traditional coaching and "thinking" methods have reached their limits.
The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP): This can be taken as a standalone intervention or integrated alongside IFS and coaching to support nervous system regulation as needed.
